Associate Patient Services Specialist at Petaluma Valley Hospital, CA. This position is part time and will work 8-hour, Evening shifts. Performs all registration functions for patients. This includes collecting accurate demographic information, verifying insurance benefits and eligibility, obtaining authorization/pre- certification for services provided, and collecting patient liability prior to or at the time of service. Required Qualifications: 1 year - Experience in a healthcare or customer service setting with proven customer service skills. Preferred Qualifications: Coursework/Training - Some college and/or certificate courses. Experience in hospital registration or healthcare setting.
