Job Purpose and Impact
The Associate Payroll Specialist will be the first line of contact for payroll processing delivered in the company business service center to ensure a high quality and smooth flow of payroll processes. In this role, you will partner closely with the operations team to ensure the accuracy of data for essential payroll variables such as salary, bank account, address and new employee and termination data. Key Accountabilities
Collect personal information, fixed and variable payroll data and provide it to the payroll provider in the standard agreed format.
Ensure payroll variable elements are aligned with the company internal policies.
Communicate with the selected payroll provider for payroll processing.
Handle the in country payroll inbox and respond to requests in a timely basis following company policies, urgency and complexity and ensure information is properly archived.
Coordinate submission of required reports and run post payroll reports for third party companies.
Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Previous experience in a human resources, finance or administration role
Knowledge of payroll processing best practices
Exposure to human resources tools and payroll applications
Knowledge of French and/or Dutch is an asset
