Role Summary and Impact We are looking for an experienced and hands-on SEM Associate Manager to lead and optimize paid search campaigns Japan market. This role requires a strong balance of strategic thinking and executional excellence, with the ability to work closely with cross-regional stakeholders and deliver against strict performance targets. Skills and Experience Key Responsibilities Plan, execute, and optimize Search campaigns across platforms including Google Ads and Yahoo. Continuously monitor campaign performance and implement hands-on optimizations to meet and exceed defined KPIs and performance thresholds. Analyze campaign data, identify trends and insights, and provide actionable recommendations to improve performance. Translate data and insights into clear, compelling narratives and present actionable recommendations to stakeholders. Quantify the impact of optimizations and strategic changes through data-driven analysis. Utilize analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) to evaluate user behavior and campaign effectiveness. Ensure campaigns are executed with a high level of precision, consistency, and accountability. Requirements Proficiency in Japanese (reading and writing) is required to work with clients based in the Japan market. Strong hands-on experience in SEM campaign management across Google Ads and Yahoo Search. Demonstrated ability to manage and optimize campaigns under strict performance targets. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies. Strong presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to convert complex data into clear, compelling insights for stakeholders. Familiarity with analytics platforms such as Google Analytics. Solid understanding of website tracking and tagging; experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM) is a plus. Detail-oriented with strong QA capabilities to ensure accuracy in execution and reporting. Independent, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-regional environment. Structured thinker with strong logical and problem-solving skills.
