Description

The Associate Personnel Analyst (APA) is responsible for facilitating seamless personnel services among Department of Developmental Services (Department) programs through external recruitment activities. The incumbent is responsible for planning and attending career fairs; special recruitment projects; and managing external outreach platforms. This position is responsible for independently performing tasks and activities related to planning, developing, and evaluating recruitment and outreach tools, monitoring vacancies, and providing recommendations for targeted recruitment strategies. Partners with external organizations to enhance and maintain the Department’s visibility on external platforms, supporting the recruitment of qualified applicants. The position serves as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for recruitment related questions and career fairs.

Working Conditions
This position provides hybrid telework opportunities, with employees required to work in-person at least two days per week. Beginning July 1, 2025, all employees will be required to work in-person at least four days per week in alignment with Executive Order N-22-25.
Work is performed in an opened-spaced, partitioned office environment in downtown Sacramento. Moderate travel will be required.
