Job Description Assists in several tasks related to patient accounts for hospital and clinical facilities. Daily duties include processing claims, addressing patient billing inquiries, collecting payments, assisting in helping resolve payer enrollment related denials and other problems, attending to inquiries regarding an account. Job Responsibility Assists in processing and managing patient claims. Assists in collecting payments from third party insurance carriers and patients. Assists in resolving any issues relating to the physician account. Assists in answering any questions physicians may have about their account. Assists physicians with terms for repayment structures. Assists in negotiations of any overdue balance to recover payment from physicians. Assist in generating bills for patients including payment plan options. Explains insurance benefits to patients. The Associate Physician Account Representative assists in processing and managing patient claims and collecting payments from third-party insurance carriers and patients. They also help resolve issues related to physician accounts and answer inquiries from physicians regarding their accounts.
