AHS is looking for an Associate physician to work at Wetaskiwin Hospital and Care Centre, Central Zone. This is an alternate physician provider role in which the successful candidate will work with a limited medical license issued from the College of Physician and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA). The incumbent will work within with the Hospitalist group under the direction of an attending physician and within a multidisciplinary team setting to deliver acute patient care.
Description:

We are currently hiring Associate Physician positions to support Wetaskiwin Hospital and Care Centre Hospitalist Group. These positions represent an opportunity created for International Medical Graduates (IMGs) to be selected and prepared for work as Associate Physicians in clinical departments. IMGs are landed immigrants, Canadian citizens and/or have employment authorization from the Canadian government and fulfill the program requirements.
