Overview As a Planning Lead at Linesight, you will work with highly experienced, culturally diverse, and passionate teams. You will have a strong background in construction planning and will be responsible for developing and managing fully integrated project schedules while ensuring alignment with execution, procurement, and control strategies. The role requires exceptional communication and leadership skills to effectively collaborate with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. For us lasting trusted relationships are everything, both with our teams and our clients. The Opportunity In this role you will: Lead project priorities, deadlines, and client engagements. Develop detailed, end-to-end project schedules using critical path methodology, covering full project scope, milestones, and timelines. Apply Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) methodology to define roles, responsibilities, and deliverables. Align all scheduling with the project execution plan, contracting, procurement, and control strategies. Establish a robust method for schedule baselining and manage ongoing updates. Maintain a fully integrated project schedule viewable at multiple levels of detail and abstraction. Lead and facilitate meetings with both clients and suppliers to discuss timelines, progress, and dependencies. Negotiate and resolve interdisciplinary and inter-party schedule conflicts to achieve optimal outcomes for the client. Deliver regular progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting variances, risks, and mitigation strategies. Review and validate supplier and third-party schedules, ensuring alignment with industry best practices. Apply working knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) to support integrated schedule and cost performance tracking, when required. We would love to hear from you if you have: Extensive experience in construction project planning and scheduling. Proficiency in using Primavera P6 to build, manage, and analyse project schedules. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and can convey complex schedule data in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner. Confidence leading meetings and are able to command attention, facilitate productive discussions, and drive decisions. Demonstratable experience with Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA), including the ability to interpret and clearly communicate findings to stakeholders. Excellent technical understanding of planning processes in complex, high-value construction projects. A degree or equivalent experience in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, or a related field.
