Responsibilities
  • From the moment our loans are signed you take on primary responsibility for them and are in charge of analyzing credit migration trends as well as maintaining internal tracking metrics for the portfolio and individual names.
  • You supervise all disbursement requirements in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders including the export credit agency (ECA) requirements.
  • You diligently review annual risk rating updates, prepare and provide reporting aligning with internal policies, regulators’ requirements, rating agencies as well as other external parties and respond to ad hoc requests regarding portfolio composition and exposure.
  • You supervise and analyze credit risks of the SEF portfolios via annual review, monitor the collateral including the ECA cover, and keep an eye on compliance to risk and financial parameters along with other provision of the loan agreements.
  • By processing requests, follow-ups, modifications and legal amendments to credit contracts, you play an active role in waiver / amendment management internally and externally, in particular with ECAs.
  • Additionally, you support your team lead and ensure – by coordinating between Portfolio- and Transaction Management, providing the required insights, reports and samples as well as participating in the dialogue if necessary – that all internal and external regulatory controls and audits are responded to promptly and properly.
  • In case of non-payment or restructuring, you communicate with ECAs in relation to indemnification and work closely with ING’s internal restructuring unit.
  • In all this, you are the primary contact for clients as well as back office departments, solving all their operative issues with the SEF portfolio and – by liaising with external parties – ensure our data accuracy along with maintaining all required bank / credit insurances like CPRI.
