Description
Provide design leadership and oversight for residential, hospitality and mixed-use projects located across the US West and Mexico, ensuring consistency, quality, and compliance with local codes and standards. Coordinate closely with project teams in various offices to guide design vision, facilitate collaboration, and share best practices. Ensure all design solutions meet relevant codes, accessibility, and sustainability requirements for residential and hospitality projects in the US West and Mexico. Maintain quality control across all deliverables and project documentation. Lead conceptual and schematic design, design development, and oversee construction documentation for multifamily residential, hospitality, and mixed-use projects. Champion creative, sustainable, and resilient design solutions tailored to the Living sector and client objectives. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution. Registered Architect in Texas (required or able to obtain promptly); registration in other US West states and/or Mexico is a plus. Minimum 10 years of architectural design experience, with a strong record of leading significant residential, hospitality and mixed-use projects and teams. Proven expertise in client relationship management and business development within the Living sector, with experience in regional project delivery. Advanced proficiency in design software (Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite); experience with visualization and BIM tools (Enscape, Lumion, etc.) preferred. Experience with sustainable design certifications (LEED, WELL, etc.). Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulatory processes for residential and hospitality projects across the US West and Mexico. Familiarity with large-scale, multidisciplinary project delivery in residential, hospitality and mixed-use sectors. Ability to work effectively across multiple geographies and cultures, including fluency in Spanish (preferred). Experience mentoring and developing junior staff.
