About Us Since starting in Perth in 2012, CMW Geosciences has expanded to 22 offices with over 300 employees across Australia and New Zealand. We are hard-working, down-to-earth, and passionate engineers and geologists who provide quality geotechnical site investigation, analysis, and design advice to the construction infrastructure and energy sectors. We are looking for an established geotech professional who can confidently provide practical solutions, develop strong client relationships and contribute to furthering technical development in CMW. You must be able to work within a team and provide hands-on mentorship to junior staff our Brisbane office. Based in Albion, our Brisbane team provides site investigation, CPS and design advice to clients throughout Queensland, primarily on renewable energy projects. We are looking for a true all-rounder who has built a practical, hands-on career as a geotech professional. You must be confident in delivering and overseeing large-scale SI projects and comfortable with fast-paced CPS work. Furthermore, you must be confident in mentoring and developing junior staff, as well as providing technical reviews/oversight. We are considering candidates with 8-30 years of experience as we are looking to fill two roles. What We're Looking for To be successful in this role you must have, A Civil Engineering, Geology or Earth Science Degree A minimum of 8 years of experience as a Geotechnical Engineer in a consultancy setting Full Australian working rights CPEng or relevant professional body registration At least two years of experience working in Aus and QLD is strongly preferred Good interpersonal skills Exceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to travel if required What You'll Get Additional Day Leave on your Birthday Provision of minimum of 50 hours Training / CPD per year and paid membership to Engineers Australia.
