Description

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in device design and development, lean manufacturing and/or process development Minimum of 2 years of professional experience leading technical teams Prior experience in the medical device or other highly regulated industry Demonstrated cross-functional collaboration in fast paced environment Proven experience performing multiple process characterizations across a variety of technologies. Experience in training and mentoring engineers in problem-solving and process improvement methodologies. Knowledge of and ability to teach Design of Experiments (DOE) principles. Ability to travel approximately 5-10% domestically and internationally. Prior experience in catheter development, including work with dilators, guidewires, catheters, braiding, reflow, tipping, and fixture design. Proven leadership and management of technical teams, including coaching, development, and motivating individuals to achieve results Experience in functional management, project management and budgeting Experience leading teams in developing and transferring manufacturing processes and/or production lines across a global network Ability to anticipate future technology needs and initiate programs with minimal oversight Experience leading teams throughout the product lifecycle—from exploratory to commercialization and end of life Strong vendor management and collaboration skills
