Description
The Associate Process Manager of Payroll within Human Resources is responsible for overseeing the entire payroll process, including severance, taxes, and other related functions. This role provides guidance to Analyst and Senior Analyst, addressing their queries and ensuring payroll is processed accurately and on time. The Associate Process Manager also works closely with the Process Manager to ensure seamless operations and compliance with organizations. * Review ad hoc earnings and deductions to ensure all variable earnings have complete approvals * Create templates for variable earnings and deductions to support payroll continuity when Analyst or Senior Analyst are on leave * Prepare reports by compiling summaries of earnings. taxes, deductions, leave and non-taxable wages * Review and ensure timely submission of government mandated reports to avoid penalties * Preparer year-end report such as Alphalist, Annualization, and BIR From 2316 * Resolve payroll discrepancies by collection and analyzing relevant information * Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll information by ensuring confidentiality  * Assist employees and provide advice regarding payroll concerns * Ensure timely processing of final pay and salaries   * Skills and Qualifications * Bachelor’s Degree (4year course) preferably in Business or related field. *  2-3 years supervisory experience and strong payroll background * Solid knowledge of compensation and labor laws.  * Highly accurate, dependable, and dedicated to completing task on time * Strong team player with the ability to prioritize task effectively * Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to resolve escalated concerns * Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation is an advantage * Strong ethical standards with high level of honesty and integrity * Keen attention to detail, customer-oriented, trainable, and committed to continuous self-improvement * Proficient in MS office application  * Familiarity with Oracle and Alldigi (Allsec) payroll system is preferred.  * BPO experience is a plus.
