We have offices in NYC and LA. Candidates should be within commuting distance of either office and will need to be available for in-person collaboration on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. This position will begin with a four month short term position before converting to full time. OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE MKG is looking for a talented and versatile Associate Producer to join our Production department. This person will support Lead Producers on larger-scale activations and, over time, take ownership of smaller projects from kickoff through execution. Success in this role requires curiosity, strong organization, a proactive mindset, and a willingness to learn fast in a dynamic, collaborative environment. WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE: Support Lead Producers with day-to-day project execution, serving as a key production partner across planning, pre-production, on-site execution, and wrap Manage project logistics and vendor coordination (rentals, scenic, uniforms, catering, shipping, storage, COIs, etc.), acting as the primary vendor liaison and secondary client contact Create, organize, and maintain all project documentation including drive folders, production schedules, task grids, budgets, expense tracking, and post-event reconciliations Contribute to internal and client-facing materials such as creative decks, project summaries, agendas, production books, and training manuals Coordinate meetings, calls, travel, staffing needs, crew meals, and on-site logistics to ensure seamless execution Track timelines, anticipate next steps, and proactively develop contingency (“Plan B”) solutions Support and manage on-site teams, including interns and staff, fostering clear communication and growth Collaborate cross-functionally with Creative, Account, and Design teams to align production logistics with project vision Lead smaller-scale projects independently (with appropriate oversight), including managing budgets, vendors, schedules, and on-site execution Demonstrate growing confidence, professionalism, and poise when working with clients and external partners COMPENSATION $70,000 - $82,000 annually ***This is the minimum + maximum base salary that we, in good faith, are willing to pay at the time of the posting. Salary commensurate with experience Requirements Given the nature of experiential work, this role may require occasional travel and flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, as business needs arise. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. 2-4 years of similar experience. Ability to complete tasks and manage projects with reduced supervision. Capability to work on multiple projects simultaneously during different lifecycle stages. Skills and temperament to manage larger/complex project elements. Experience in Google Suite. Increased leadership/ownership of projects and onsite team. Ability to manage and delegate to PAs and/or interns. Understanding of project team roles and responsibilities, authoring the first draft for manager review. Understanding of client’s brand goals within the experiential marketing landscape. Comprehension of agency processes, departmental roles and responsibilities, and overall workflow. Comprehension of project/client priorities and KPIs. Collected and diplomatic communication with clients, partners, and vendors in all situations
