REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate for this role will possess the following requirements:

  • University degree
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the K–12 educational Ed-Tech market, including direct collaboration with content creators
  • Current knowledge of digital technologies, AI, digital learning tools, multimedia applications, and how students learn best in a digital environment
  • Strong understanding of the Canadian K–12 education landscape, including curricula, instructional practices, and emerging trends in teaching, learning, and assessment
  • Ability to synthesize and clearly communicate market needs and trends
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Results-oriented, strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and innovative thinking skills
  • Exceptional relationship management skills, including experience recruiting, managing, and mentoring internal and external authors, reviewers, editors, subject matter experts, and digital content developers
  • Ability to manage high-volume workloads, juggle multiple priorities, pivot when needed, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness and ability to travel

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a market-facing leader on the Product team, the Associate Product Manager plays a key role in shaping innovative e-learning solutions for classrooms across Canada. Reporting to the VP, Content & Curriculum, this role is ideal for someone passionate about education and excited to collaborate with a dynamic team.
In partnership with the Program Specialist, the Associate Product Manager will lead the identification, conceptualization, validation, and strategic development of new e-learning resources within the ELA and Social Studies portfolio. This includes participating in project costing, contributing to the instructional design, and sourcing new authors, reviewers, subject matter experts, and thought leaders.
This role requires strong market research skills, both internally and externally, to stay ahead of curriculum changes, pedagogical shifts, and evolving customer needs. The goal is to develop high-impact Edwin e-learning resources that drive growth and customer retention.
We’re looking for a results-driven, strategic thinker who understands teaching and learning in digital classrooms. You’re an innovator, a creative problem-solver, an effective project manager, and a strong communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills.
