We are looking for an Associate Product Manager who is passionate about learning and becoming a Product Manager in the transportation technology sector. Our ideal candidate will be an intellectually curious, customer-focused, results driven individual with a passion for learning more about the industry and product management.
In this role, you will play a critical part in the development and execution of our product strategy. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and sales to deliver exceptional products that meet the needs of our customers. Transflo has a wide range of products that are constantly innovating their technology. You would gain experience with AI/ Data and web applications, OCR, document scanning engines, navigation apps, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and more!
The Associate Product Manager
Oversees the Execution of Transflo’s Product Vision, Strategy, and Roadmaps, assuming responsibility for guiding the overall direction of Transflo’s products, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals and market needs.
Serves as the Product Owner of the Workflow AI and Data Insights , and other products as assigned.
Lead and manage the daily operational aspects of Workflow AI and Data product development, ensuring smooth execution and adherence to timelines.
Engages in thorough market research within the transportation industry, analyzing trends, customer insights, and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities for product innovation and improvement.
Works on defining and documenting detailed product requirements, user stories, and use cases, forming the foundation for product development.
Ensures smooth execution and adherence to timelines in the day-to-day management of product development activities.
Partners with the design and UX teams to create user interfaces that are both visually appealing and enhance customer workflows.
Works closely with the marketing and sales teams to develop and implement effective go-to-market strategies and support product launches.
Manages the creation and distribution of detailed Release Notes for product updates and oversees the maintenance and improvement of customer-facing resources like Transflo.com.
Keeps informed about the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in product management within the transportation and logistics sector.
Gathers feedback and insights from customers through close collaboration with customer support and success teams, addressing customer needs and pain points.

Ensures product quality and resolution of reported issues by working closely with the quality assurance team.

  • Assists in preparing and delivering product presentations to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provides timely and concise reports to the Senior Product Manager on product development progress, challenges, market research outcomes, customer feedback, and any obstacles, ensuring alignment with the strategic direction and maintaining transparency.
  • Complies with all organizational policies and procedures.
  • Takes on additional responsibilities and tasks as needed to support the Product Management team and overall business objectives.

What you will bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (business, computer science, engineering, etc.) or relevant experience preferred.
  • Previous experience documenting and delivering roadmaps, project plans, reports, curriculums, and/or partnerships. 1-2 years of experience in product management or related field preferred.

Willingness to learn the industry – talking to prospects, building relationships with customers, understanding current market needs and future trends, assessing competitors, researching, and analyzing the market.
Basic knowledge of Product Management, Agile, and/or SDLC methodologies
Interest in industry trends to drive innovation.
Analytical and data driven mindset.
Passionate about learning and solving key customer questions, pain points and new opportunities.
