To meet business growth needs, we are hiring a Associate Product Portfolio Manager based in Dubai. Job Description Main purpose of the job: Support the Regional Product Portfolio Manager – MESEA in managing and optimizing the regional product portfolio. This includes conducting market research, coordinating product lifecycle activities, and supporting marketing initiatives to drive business growth. The role is responsible for managing the full product lifecycle, from market insights and product definition through to commercialization and market growth. It contributes to identifying market gaps and supporting initiatives to address them with suitable and competitive product solutions—leveraging the Group portfolio, regional sourcing, or new product development. This includes ensuring effective market positioning, strong technical competitiveness, and alignment with market demands. The position also plays a key role in supporting project tenders, coordinating product data, preparing technical documentation, and delivering marketing support to the commercial team, ultimately contributing to revenue growth. Market Analysis & Product Insight Collect, analyze and conduct market analysis on lighting trends, technologies, market regulatory requirements, customer data and key stakeholders including lighting designers, consultants, municipalities, and contractors to identify product gaps and opportunities. Support in identifying regional market gaps, competitive positioning and defining product roadmap, product positioning, portfolio strategy and target customer segments which align with business objectives. Maintain databases of market intelligence, competitor products, competitor benchmarking and pricing benchmarks. Monitor product performance, pricing competitiveness, sales feedback, and customer adoptio Product Portfolio Coordination Assist in managing the regional product portfolio and lifecycle activities. Manage product lifecycle including product updates, phase-outs, and replacements. Help adapt Group products to regional specifications and collect feedback for continuous improvement. Coordinate updates to product documentation, data sheets, and specifications. Support cost reduction or performance improvement initiatives. Identify opportunities for product improvements, upgrades, or customization for key markets and projects. Translate market requirements into Product Requirement Documents (PRD) and Product Technical Specification for new product development or customization. Work with engineering teams during product development to ensure market needs are met. Product Launch & Marketing Support Support marketing and communication activities for product launches and updates. Help prepare internal training materials, presentations, and promotional content such as Product launch presentations Sales tools and technical guides Competitive Comparison Materials Application case studies Train sales teams and channel partners on product features, benefits, value proposition, and competitive positioning. Liaise with Group Marketing and local MARCOM teams to ensure consistency in messaging. Work with commercial teams to develop campaigns, roadshow and promotional activities. Project & Tender Support Support key project tenders, strategic bids and specifications by providing product expertise and technical positioning. Assist the commercial team in preparing tender submissions with the correct product offers. Gather and format technical and commercial information needed for proposals. Ensure product data accuracy and timely delivery of supporting materials. Operational & Administrative Support Prepare reports, dashboards, and KPIs for portfolio performance monitoring. Manage internal coordination with R&D, Marketing, Operations, and Sales. Contribute to internal meetings and maintain follow-up actions. Qualifications Education: Degree in Business, Commercial Engineering, Economics, or Engineering (Mechanical, Electromechanical, etc.). Experience: 2–4 years of relevant experience in product management, product marketing, or technical sales support. Experience in the lighting or electrical industry is an advantage. Knowledge and Skills: Fluent in English (Mandarin is plus) Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail. Team-oriented, proactive, and able to work across departments. Good presentation and communication abilities. Familiar with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable handling product data. Basic understanding of marketing principles and project coordination.
