Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include (not in any priority): * May be responsible for assembling components and/or boxes that will be utilized for packaging finished goods, as well as packing finished goods. * May be responsible for palletizing packaged goods or components. * May be responsible for operating a filling machine to fill components with manufactured products. * May be responsible for Scanning packaged goods, items, or materials used in production. * Responsible for following established safety rules, policies, and regulations. * Responsible for following and adhering to goals set by management. * Responsible for housekeeping of the department, as assigned by management. * Other duties may apply as required. * Pay rate is $16.90 per hour. * Both first and second shifts available. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * At least one year of experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse setting. * Read, write, and speak English; receive and provide clear instructions. Qualification: * Must be team-oriented. * Must have the ability to stand for long periods of time. * Must be able to lift a maximum of up to 30 lbs. * Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus. Working Conditions: * Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed. * Work in a production area with fast-moving equipment, moderate to high noise levels, and temperature changes. * Perform repetitive lifting, bending, grasping, reaching, pulling, climbing, and work at the computer as needed.
Responsibilities
Responsible for assembling components, packing finished goods, and operating filling machines. Duties also include palletizing, scanning materials, and maintaining department housekeeping and safety standards.
