What you’ll do As a Pricing Associate, you’ll play a key role the development and maintenance of pricing strategies, analyze market data, audit pricing actions, support vendor pricing. As a SME you are expected to generate reports, and contribute to projects and process improvements—helping position Ingram Micro competitively and profitably. 1. Pricing Operations: You’ll develop and maintain pricing strategies, ensuring accuracy and compliance through data management, audits, and vendor/product configurations. This includes analyzing system capabilities, managing pricing databases, and resolving inquiries related to pricing tools and margin issues. 2. Project Administration: You’ll support pricing-related projects by testing internal platforms, analyzing current methods, and organizing data from multiple sources. You’ll also create programming queries to support project modeling and communicate project status to stakeholders. 3. Subject Matter Expert: You’ll contribute to process improvement by creating and maintaining documentation, developing Excel templates for pricing requests, and identifying opportunities to enhance existing methods and tools. 4. Administrative Management: You’ll handle operational support tasks such as creating macro files, documenting meeting outcomes, managing workload allocation, and coordinating with in-country partners to ensure alignment and awareness of updates. What you bring to the role Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or Econometrics. Around 2 years of experience in marketing or finance, preferably in pricing. Moderate understanding of finance and accounting terminology, including margin calculation. Familiarity with price optimization and elasticity models. Strong communication and relationship management skills across teams and stakeholders. Technical competencies: Moderate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills (required). Beginner to intermediate SQL and VBA/Macros skills. Experience with Business Objects (Magellan) preferred.
