Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for digital media practitioner-researchers to lead UCL’s BA Media programme. This unique course blends creative media production and media theory, preparing its students to develop careers in the rapidly evolving creative industries. Through making, experimentation, critical reflection, and engagement with theory, students become experts in digital media, including film, games, and interactive media.

We seek world-class talent; candidates must have an outstanding research track record.
You will cultivate critical reflection through digital making, encouraging students to engage with materials, technologies, aesthetics, and craftsmanship. They will support the integration of theory and practice by embedding critical approaches to media and technology, notably film, games, and interactive and immersive media. They will enable students to apply relevant theory directly within their creative and practical work.
