We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Education and Languages: Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointee shall mainly be responsible for the following: Teaching and supervising students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels; Contributing to curriculum and course development; Supporting student activities; Undertaking academic programme management and related administrative duties; and Conducting high-quality research in relevant areas of Linguistics. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: An earned PhD in Linguistics or a closely related discipline; with demonstrated ability to teach and conduct research in areas such as second language acquisition and learning, psycholinguistics, corpus linguistics, and/or sociolinguistics; and A strong command of English and the ability to communicate effectively in Chinese. Preference will be given to candidates with an excellent teaching record, substantial professional experience with international exposure, strong research, administrative and management capabilities, and a proven track record of scholarly publications.
