Overview Macon and Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences at Old Dominion University is seeking an Associate Professor or Professor, Division Chief within the Department of Medicine. This person will provide administrative direction and oversight of the Division, deliver medical care to patients in a hospital setting, will be involved with the clinical rating of students/residents/fellows, and provide administrative oversight of the Division's Fellowship program. Responsibilities Provide administrative direction and oversight of the operations of the Division and its Fellowship program. Deliver medical care to patients in a hospital setting. Collaborate with nursing, office staff, administrant in patient care. Collaborate with peers and support staff. Participate in academic/clinical/research activities. Participate in education evaluations and career development of students, residents, fellow and staff. Participate in committees as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications and Skills: MD, DO, MB, or MBBA, State of VA license Preferred Qualifications: Division/Medical Group leadership experience in running and growing a program. Experience in an academic/teaching setting. Location : Location US-VA-Norfolk
