About the Role Join the Program Design and Evaluation team within Economics and Analysis, Investment NSW and help improve the effectiveness of government programs and initiatives across NSW. As the Associate, Program Design and Evaluation, you will partner with policy and program teams to ensure initiatives are evaluation-ready from the outset. You will conduct evaluations, undertake quantitative and qualitative analysis, contribute to program design, and develop evidence-based insights that support effective decision-making and improved outcomes for government initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of projects both within Investment NSW and across the whole-of-government through referrals from the Expert Advisory Network. You will contribute to program design, process, outcome and economic evaluations that influence policy development, public investment and service delivery across NSW. We're Looking For Program Evaluation: Experience supporting or delivering program, policy, process, outcome or economic evaluations, including applying evaluation frameworks and methodologies to assess effectiveness and inform decision-making Research and Analysis: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience synthesising complex quantitative and qualitative information into clear insights, recommendations and reports for decision-makers Program Design: Ability to support the development of program logic models, outcomes frameworks and monitoring approaches that strengthen evidence-based policy and program delivery Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to build productive relationships and work collaboratively with policy, program and operational teams to facilitate workshops, gather evidence and support evaluation activities Project Delivery: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple pieces of work simultaneously, prioritise competing deadlines and deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
