Position Summary We are seeking an Associate Project Controls Analyst to support project teams through accurate scheduling, cost tracking, and project controls documentation. This entry-level role is designed for individuals eager to build foundational skills in project controls, cost analysis, and performance reporting while contributing to successful project delivery. Working under close supervision, you will collaborate with Project Managers, Project Engineers, and design teams to support forecasting, progress tracking, and reporting across the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities As an Associate Project Controls Analyst, you will support project execution by assisting with scheduling, cost tracking, and reporting activities. You will: Develop and maintain accurate project schedules using established methodologies and scheduling software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 Provide timely status updates to project leads and design teams throughout the project lifecycle Collaborate with project teams to update schedules, track progress, and support basic project forecasting activities Track project costs and budgets, support resource planning analysis, and assist with introductory earned value management (EVM) calculations and reporting Support project controls documentation, data entry, and preparation of routine reports and dashboards Participate in project review meetings, project controls training sessions, and ongoing professional development activities Follow established department standards, templates, and procedures to ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality Adapt to changing project priorities, deadlines, and workloads while maintaining attention to detail Requirements Education/Experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Management, Construction Management, Business, or a related discipline Typically, 0–2 years of relevant experience in project controls, scheduling, engineering support, or similar roles Familiarity with project management tools or scheduling software is preferred Authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship Desired Skills & Attributes Ability to learn and apply scheduling and project controls software Strong attention to detail with the ability to organize, track, and update project data accurately Clear communication skills for providing status updates and supporting team collaboration Basic analytical skills for interpreting cost and schedule data Willingness to learn, take direction, and build foundational project controls expertise Organized, reliable, and comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment What We Offer At BHMG, we’re committed to raising the bar for what it means to work at an engineering and consulting firm.
