Description

The Project Developer leads the development and implementation of large energy generation, infrastructure, and other capital projects. The Project Developer is responsible for the planning, design, and approval processes of new projects which lay the groundwork for expanding company energy infrastructure. As the leader of development of many different projects, this role oversees the study, design, land rights, community relations, permitting and preconstruction processes to ensure timely implementation of projects. This position maintains key business, public and stakeholder relationships and includes interaction with landowners, county, state and federal government employees, contractors, consultants, community and state organizations, and other stakeholders and coordinates with other departments to complete development of complex multi-stage energy infrastructure projects such as wind, solar, energy storage, thermal generation, nuclear generation, communications and other capital intensive utility infrastructure projects. The position supports various calculations, reports, analyses, document control, project scheduling and other activities needed to complete due diligence, development and construction activities.
