The Associate, Project Development will support the siting and development of community solar and small utility-scale solar energy projects throughout the United States. Responsibilities ⚙️ Site new solar projects utilizing GIS Platforms and Tools Negotiate land control documents based on set company parameters Support development activities in early, mid, and/or late stages of projects Coordinate landowner communication efforts Obtain certain local and/or state permits Attend Community meetings and represent Reactivate with customers, landowners, state and local officials and other stakeholders Conduct site assessments, fatal flaw analysis and other due diligence Support initiation of generation interconnection activities Other responsibilities as deemed necessary for being a member of a growing organization Requirements 🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Business, Environmental Science, Urban Planning, Engineering, or a related field 2+ years of experience in real estate, engineering consulting, or renewable energy project development is preferred A desire to work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment Proficient in Microsoft Office and Office365 Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) Travel as needed, anticipated 30-50% of the time Valid driver's license required The annual base salary for this position is $60,000 – $85,000. Reactivate considers several factors when determining base pay offers such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibility of the role, candidate’s work experience and/or education, training and certifications among other key skills at the time of offer.
