EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

2-6PQE experience in a leading international firm

  • Experience of project finance (mining and metals in particular).

    • Experience of deals involving African, Central and Eastern European and Latin American jurisdictions is beneficial.
      Knowledge of working with export credit agencies, development finance institutions and other official agencies on multi-sourced financing is beneficial.


    • Keen to see candidates with experience of working with top tier law firms in these sectors.

    • Language skills other than English are not required but candidates with additional language capabilities would be welcome.

    Candidates will be expected to be familiar with drafting and negotiating a range of finance documents on behalf of lenders and / or borrowers, including facilities agreements, inter-creditor arrangements and security documentation, as well as managing trainees and NQs.

    • We are looking for future leaders within the team so candidates will be expected to demonstrate a willingness to help develop the practice and to input into strategy and marketing materials, together with the ability to represent the firm at business development events.

      • An interest and willingness to get involved in the “life” of the group and the London office including participating in charity initiatives and pro-bono opportunities.
