Our Project Development and Finance Practice specializes in advising clients on the legal and financial aspects of large-scale infrastructure and development projects. Our practice provides comprehensive support through all stages of project development, including initial planning, financing, construction and operation. Our team works with clients across various sectors such as energy, transportation, real estate and public infrastructure, offering expertise in structuring and negotiating project agreements, managing regulatory compliance and mitigating risks. We also assist clients in securing funding through various financial instruments and navigating complex financial transactions. By combining deep industry knowledge with a global perspective, our Project Development and Finance Practice helps clients successfully bring projects to fruition, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and regulatory requirements. The roles and responsibilities include: Acting for top tier lenders and sponsors in connection with project, corporate and acquisition financing mandates in the energy infrastructure and resources sectors. Assist the closure of project, corporate and acquisition financing transactions. Supporting the coordination of internal teams across the White & Case global offices to achieve closure of project, corporate and acquisition financing transactions. Managing external counsels in respect of local jurisdiction legal issues to achieve closure of project, corporate and acquisition fiancing transactions. Managing small teams to provide timely assistance/advice to White & Case top tier lender and sponsor clients. May co-ordinate work of more junior members of the team Admission in Australia, England & Wales or other Common Law jurisdiction.
