Johnson & Johnson’s Family of Companies is recruiting for an Associate Project Head for Ottava within our Robotics & Digital Solutions organization. The position will be located in Santa Clara, CA.
Robotics and Digital Solutions, is part of Johnson & Johnson Med Tech. At Johnson & Johnson Robotics and Digital Solutions, we’re changing the trajectory of health for humanity, using robotics to enhance healthcare providers’ abilities and improve patients’ diagnoses, treatments, and recovery times. Johnson & Johnson Robotics was established in 2020 with the integration of Auris Health, Verb Surgical, C-SATS, and Ethicon. It comprises three key med-tech platforms: Flexible Robotics (MONARCH®), Surgical Robotics (OTTAVA™), and Digital Solutions. The Associate Project Head will report into the Program Leadership (Release leader, or Project Head). An Associate Project Head will be a leader with end-to-end accountability for one or more subsystem(s) and will be accountable for all aspects of the execution of their subsystem(s) as guided by Program Leadership. They will lead a cross-functional team and are responsible for driving collaboration, ensuring delivery of their team’s scope, and raising issues to Program leadership as necessary.
This role requires strong collaboration skills and partnership with R&D, Global Strategic Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality and Finance. The role also requires strong technical expertise in Class II, III medical device capital equipment development including a strong understanding of global regulatory and clinical requirements.
