Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for an Associate Project Manager with our telecommunications client in Doral, FL. This is a 12-month contract with a potential for extension.
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment.
Schedule: Hybrid with Monday and Fridays being WFH, and Tuesday - Thursday are in the office.

DESCRIPTION:

The Associate Project Manager role is responsible for providing support for multiple project managers. This role will be responsible for managing project capital pass through budgets requiring minimal guidance and procedures of the PM Principles and verifying all financials are completed according to the underlying customer contract and agreed-upon timelines while complying with company’s code of conduct, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand customer contracts, scope of work, goals, and project/financial timelines
  • Interface with customer contact and attend customer deployment meetings as a subject matter expert (SME) for the company
  • Ensure company and customer systems are maintained with accurate and reportable data
  • Report on financial status against commitments and keeping all stakeholders informed
  • Resolve conflicts and drive issue resolution with all stakeholders
  • Manage risk, actions, issues, dependencies, scope creep and other work order changes according to contractual practices
  • Escalate issues through internal lines of business Expectations
  • Customer Focused - Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions
  • Plans & Aligns - Planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals
  • Communicates Effectively - Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
  • Ensures Accountability - Holding self and others accountable to meet commitments
  • Drives Results - Consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstances

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

Experience/Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of three (3) + years of project management experience
  • Experience managing project budgets or related financial experience
  • MS Excel - working with large data and organizing the data

Other Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong financial acumen, including the ability to read and understand financial metrics
  • Ability to interface effectively with all levels of organization, including senior leaders
  • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships
  • Customer-facing project management experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of public right of way project deployment
