Job Summary: Assists in managing the scope, schedule, budget, and safety performance of multiple capital projects and programs. Working closely with project managers, this role monitors progress, coordinates resources, supports risk and issue resolution, and helps ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards while serving as a liaison across teams and stakeholders. Job Description: Supports end‑to‑end project execution, including planning, scheduling, coordination, and monitoring to ensure on‑time and accurate delivery. Maintains tracking of project progress, budgets, forecasts, and documentation with guidance and support from the Project Manager or manager. Identifies project risks, supports mitigation planning, and assists in resolving execution‑phase issues and conflicts. Supports inspection, assurance, and quality‑control processes by organizing documentation, verifying compliance with safety and quality standards, and escalating concerns when necessary. Coordinates day‑to‑day communication with contractors, suppliers, cross‑functional teams, and external partners to maintain alignment and streamline workflows. Maintains comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, change orders, permits, milestones, KPIs, reports, and compliance records Assists with procurement by preparing purchase requests, tracking material and equipment needs, and ensuring timely availability of required resources. Participates in project and kickoff meetings, documents action items, gathers data, and prepares reports and presentations for stakeholder alignment. Facilitates clear and continuous communication across project stakeholders to support effective problem resolution. Follows established company policies, procedures, and standards to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and industry regulations. Participates in storm restoration tasks and assigned drills to contribute to the safe and reliable recovery of services. Performs additional tasks aligned with role expectations and qualifications to support team goals and operational flexibility. Additional Job Description: Education Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management or related field from an accredited university. Experience 2–4 years of project management or related experience, including developing project schedules, facilitating cross‑functional communication, documenting meetings, tracking deliverables, and preparing project reports. Experience working on large‑scale infrastructure projects, including supporting complex multi‑stakeholder environments and coordinating interfaces between internal and external parties, is preferred. Additional experience may substitute for required education when it aligns with the competencies and knowledge necessary for the role: Associate’s degree in a relevant field may substitute when accompanied by a minimum of 5 years of experience performing similar functions and at least 3 years of experience performing a position associated to a project-support role. Competencies (Skills) Experience with working on Regulated Utilities and managing project interfaces with Regulatory Commission and Independent System Operators, International Aid Agency Interfaces on Large Utility Scale Capital Programs would be an asset. Demonstrated proficiency and experience managing projects using project management techniques including the following is preferred: Planning and Control (product /work breakdown structures, critical path analysis, scope control techniques) Issue and Risk Management (identification, assessment and management of project risks including contingency plans) Project Management Tools (methods and techniques for planning, scheduling, resource balancing, monitoring cost) Business Case Development (cost/benefit evaluations including net present value analysis) Progress Reporting (cost/schedule curves, project status report, earned value analysis) Solid Understanding of monitoring, tracking and reporting of project progress updates. Knowledgeable about Project baselines and tracking of project progress to baselines for scope, costs and schedules. Adaptable to change on a fast pace moving organization. Proficient in MS Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, Resourcing management, Risk Management, Project Management Tools. Proficient in handheld GPS usage, GIS, Computers, MS Office and Outlook applications Knowledge of applicable Municipal, State and Federal Legislation would be an asset. Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization through various means such as email, phone, video conferencing, and in-person. Strong ability to develop and deliver effective presentations and facilitate meetings as related to strategy, training, and collaborating with various stakeholders. Good organizational, communication, interpersonal and leadership skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, English and Spanish preferred.
