Description Job Title: Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) to join our clinical team. The AMFT will provide therapeutic services to clients experiencing a wide range of mental health issues, relationship challenges, and life transitions. This role involves working under supervision to gain the experience required for licensure. Key Responsibilities: Provide individual, couple, and family therapy to clients under clinical supervision. Conduct intake assessments and develop treatment plans based on client needs. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Attend regular supervision sessions and participate in team meetings. Collaborate with other mental health professionals, case managers, and medical providers as needed. Uphold ethical standards as defined by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) and professional organizations. Engage in continuing education and professional development. Qualifications: Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling Psychology, or a related field. Active California AMFT registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS). Clinical experience in providing therapy (may include practicum/internship). Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic health records (EHR). Bilingual or multilingual skills. Experience working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and underserved communities. Supervision: Weekly clinical supervision provided by a licensed LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or Psychologist, in accordance with BBS requirements.
