Tranquillium Holistic Therapy & Wellness is a growing psychotherapy practice located in Guelph, Ontario. We offer both in-person support to our local community and virtual services across Ontario. POSITION OVERVIEW -

We are currently seeking a part-time psychotherapist to join our team as a subcontractor. In this role, you will provide psychotherapy services both in-person and virtually to a diverse clientele.

QUALIFICATIONS -

· Registered and in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) or the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Services Workers (OCSWSSW).
· Master’s degree in a relevant field. Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) members are welcome to apply.
· Active and adequate liability insurance in Ontario.
· Ability to provide at least 10 hours of client availability per week.
· Strong professionalism, self-motivation, and time-management skills.
· Effective communication skills, with a prompt response to emails and other communications.
· Ability to provide counselling to clients of all ages with various mental health challenges.
· Equipped for virtual therapy with a private space, high-speed internet, and a computer with audio/visual capabilities.
*Preference will be given to therapists with EMDRIA approved training in EMDR

Responsibilities

· Provide trauma-informed therapy sessions to individuals and couples using evidence-based approaches.
· Respond to client inquiries professionally and in a timely manner (e.g., for initial appointments and consultations).
· Complete necessary documentation, including chart notes and third-party requests (e.g., insurance providers).
· Communicate with the practice owner about upcoming time off, current caseload, and professional development opportunities.
· Deliver high-quality therapy services virtually and in-person, ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to ethical standards.
