Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking an Associate Quality Production Specialist to join the Quality Team located in Heath, OH!

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 1+ year of experience in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment
  • 1+ year of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • 1+ year of experience working Non-Conformance (NCR) processes
  • Experience gathering data and performing a Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Associate’s Degree or higher
  • More than 3 years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, technical publications and/or specifications
  • Experience working closely with other engineering disciplines in an integrated team environment
  • Experience with regulatory requirements
  • Experience using strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience performing quantitative or statistical analysis, data collection, preparation and interpretation
Responsibilities
  • Observes validation of product non-conformances and disposition type, quality procedures and engineering requirements.
  • Learns Quality Management System requirements, applicable company procedures, contract requirements, or government regulations.
  • Gathers data and participates in the investigation to determine root cause of nonconformance of plans, products or processes.
  • Gain knowledge of aerospace design, systems and integration to perform failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components and systems.
  • Learns the development, modification and documentation of actions to assure problem resolution or to implement corrective/preventive action.
  • Observes and seeks advice on obtaining corrective action on nonconforming plans and hardware/processes.
  • Assists in the validation of configuration management and learns quality procedures and material review policies.
  • Performs internal replication of software to Company and regulatory standards and procedures.
  • Participates in audits to ensure media is stored and handled per engineering defined requirements.
  • Assists in the creation of basic reports and assists coordination with the responsible parties for internal and external distribution.
  • Works under close supervision.
