Job Title: Associate Quantity Surveyor
Location: London, UK
Salary: £75,000 – £85,000 per annum (depending on experience)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • RICS-accredited degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
  • Ideally MRICS Chartered, or able to demonstrate significant equivalent experience
  • Proven experience delivering and managing projects of £20 million+ in value
  • Strong working knowledge of JCT contracts
  • Extensive sector experience including residential, commercial, education, healthcare, heritage, mixed-use, and industrial
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and client-facing skills
  • A commercial mindset and a genuine passion for business development and growing client accounts
  • Ability to work independently and lead teams with confidence and credibility
Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly experienced and ambitious Associate Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team. This is a senior leadership role, ideally suited to someone who combines strong technical delivery skills with a passion for client engagement and business development. You’ll be instrumental in leading high-value projects, developing client relationships, and contributing to the strategic growth of the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and deliver large-scale projects (including those in excess of £20 million) across various sectors
  • Oversee all aspects of cost management from feasibility through to final account
  • Provide expert contract administration, particularly with JCT contracts
  • Act as the key point of contact for clients, managing expectations and building long-term relationships
  • Mentor and manage junior members of the quantity surveying team
  • Contribute to strategic business development, client acquisition, and bid support
  • Drive best practice and innovation across project delivery and commercial processes
  • Represent the consultancy at industry events and networking opportunities
