Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Associate RAMS Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Perth, Australia.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Technical Degree or equivalent technical background
• Up to 3 years of RAMS Experience
• V&V process and techniques knowledge
• RAMS analysis and methodology knowledge

• Ensure the verification of system requirements to confirm compliance of the Signalling application with Safety and customer requirements.
• Ensure the organisation, scheduling, implementation of RAMS activities and monitoring of V&V activities.
• Ensure the identification of Safety Related Non-conformities during the V&V activities, their logging, analysis and follow up to closure.
• Ensure the RAM parameters demonstration process.
• Ensure the demonstration of compliance with quantitative safety targets.
• Ensure the provision of the Application Conditions and Hazard Log to the relevant System RAMS Engineer.
• Ensure the provision of schedule and cost progress to the relevant RAMS Manager.
• Ensure the provision of RAMS requirements, if any, and the Hazard Log to the relevant Product RAMS Engineer.
