What to Expect
Due to rapid growth in the Australian market, Tesla is looking to hire an exceptional Associate Recruiter on an initial 3 -month fixed term contract. One hire at a time, the Tesla recruitment team are finding the talent responsible for changing the world of energy and transportation, moving us forward to a more sustainable future. This role is based in Melbourne, in our Cremorne office. It will be responsible for owning some roles end to end while also supporting the team with screening & shortlisting of positions.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a role in helping the company expand its high-calibre teams. We operate as generalist Recruiters supporting the business wherever their growth requirements are. This position will initially be focused on supporting our Energy business with technical hiring requirements, it will also support our high volume Vehicle Apprentice Recruitment program.

What You’ll Do

  • High volume recruiting managing an average of up to 20 roles at a time, reporting on progress weekly
  • Partnering with hiring managers to assess their talent requirements
  • Conducting phone screens to assess both technical baseline as well as skills and attitude to be successful in the Tesla environment
  • Scheduling interviews and maintaining system accuracy
  • Using a variety of sourcing techniques and creativity to discover and attract the best passive talent
  • Focusing on providing a great candidate experience at every opportunity

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum of 2 years end to end recruiting experience, from either an inhouse or agency environment
  • Demonstrated track record of excellence in sourcing and assessing talent, skilled in offer negotiation, awareness of pertinent employment legislation and employment market trends
  • Proven relationship management experience with hiring teams and business partners, helping them navigate the sources of talent and assisting them with assessment
