JOB SUMMARY:
The Associate Registrar is responsible for assisting in maintaining complete and accurate student records. This includes assisting with the auditing and maintenance of all new student files and collecting any outstanding paperwork.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Associate’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field. Two (2) additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a formal degree
Experience: 1+ years of experience in customer service, education, business administration, or a related field

Audit new student files to ensure accuracy and completion
o Maintain and organize internal student files
Maintain compliance with established record release procedures, including the Family Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
Prepare and mail requests for High School or GED transcripts provided by the Admissions Department
o Assist in ordering previous college transcripts for veteran students
Collaborates with other departments to assist with resolutions of student enrollment and record issues
Record enrollment data for new students in the campus database and verify accuracy
Assists Registrar’s office with a wide variety of functions including but not limited to program changes, processing returning student files, transcripts, grades, verifications, scheduling and records
Mail IntelliTec acceptance letters to newly registered students
Mail all IntelliTec College graduate transcripts as requested
o Verify students’ tuition account standing prior to release of records
Assist in completing educational verifications and transcript requests from external sources
