Associate Registrar The Associate Registrar for Global Engagement provides comprehensive Registrar support to Affiliate Institutions (AIs), University Partnerships (UPs), non degree study abroad students, Short-Term Programs (STP), and J1 visa Exchange Visitors, among others. The Associate Registrar for Global Engagement monitors student applications, enrollments, performance, progress, graduation, and records for each student. The Associate Registrar for Global Engagement maintains a positive and cooperative relationship with foreign and domestic counterparts and collaborates with other members of the university as needed to support the needs of Global Engagement students and visitors. The Associate Registrar also focuses on designing, developing, and monitoring curriculum mapping. The Registrar for Global Engagement reports to the Registrar and follows directions from the Vice President and Dean of Global Engagement. Essential Functions Identify and cultivate relationships with potential partner universities and research organizations Develop and manage partnership agreements with universities to ensure mutual benefits and compliance with all relevant regulations Manage the coordination and oversight of incoming and outgoing exchange programs, including excursions, lodging, scheduling, transportation, and visa requirements Plan and implement events, such as information sessions, symposia, and workshops to promote academic partnerships and collaboration Maintain accurate records of partnerships, agreements, and programs in a database, ensuring that all data is up-to-date and accessible Collaborate with the university’s marketing and communications department to promote the institution’s academic partnerships Manage the preparation of reports and presentations on partnership activities for senior management and stakeholders Ensure accurate program information is presented on partner and foreign webpages Periodically review partner university media channels to ensure messaging is in alignment with Westcliff University branding and accreditation Develop curriculum maps that identify transfer credit agreements Alignment with Standards: Ensure curriculum maps align with local, state, or national educational standards, frameworks, and guidelines. Stay updated on curriculum standards and incorporate any necessary changes or updates into the mapping process. Mapping Tools and Software: Utilize curriculum mapping software or tools to create, maintain, and update curriculum maps. Familiarize yourself with various mapping platforms and stay updated on emerging technologies in curriculum mapping. Work closely with stakeholders to gather input, feedback, and suggestions. Work with Institutional Research to analyze assessment data, student performance data, and feedback to evaluate the effectiveness of university partnerships. Identify areas for improvement and recommend revisions or enhancements based on data-driven insights. Handles other projects and tasks as needed Minimum Qualifications Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. business administration, international relations, education, etc.) At least two years of experience in higher education, with a focus on international education, partnership development, or related fields MUST have prior Registrar experience Excellent communication skills, including the ability to build relationships with diverse groups of people and a strong cross-cultural understanding and cross-cultural communication Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Experience working with databases Demonstrated ability to think strategically and solve problems creatively Self-starter, takes initiative Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Monday.com, and Google Suite The Associate Registrar for Global Engagement plays a key role in advancing the mission of the institution and is a vital member of the university’s international team.
