Roles & Responsibilities

Assist in the administration of bankruptcy estates. Responsibilities include (list not exhaustive):

  • Understand the legal aspects, processes and timelines of bankruptcy administrations
  • Assist in the preparation of letters, notices, emails and reports
  • Take control of the bankrupt’s assets followed by realisation
  • Gather information from bankrupts and other third parties
  • Maintain a database of information and records
  • Conduct site visits
  • Adjudicate creditors’ claims
  • Investigate past transactions
  • Assist with the reviewing of case/issues and preparation of file-notes
  • Attend meetings and take down minutes
  • Clarify issues/problems to be addressed and communicated clearly and timely to supervisors

Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy, Law or other professional accounting qualifications recognised by ISCA
  • Fresh graduates and those with less than 2 years of experience in corporate insolvency and/or external audit
  • Strong analytical and report writing skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights and construct solutions
  • Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines
  • A strong team player
