Description

Personal Banking department oversees debit and credit card operations, and provides back office support to the Bank’s branches. The merchant acquiring business operations combined with comprehensive support services for third parties and merchant. As an Associate Retail Loan – Mandarin Speaking, you will be responsible for assessing and processing mortgage applications, ensuring compliance with the Bank’s policies. You will be coordinating with various teams to facilitate the completion of each case. This is a full time permanent position.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree educated in Business, Marketing, Accounting or Finance
  • Relevant professional qualifications such as CeMAP is a preferred
  • Relevant experience in Banking or Brokerage industry
  • Excellent English and Mandarin communication skills with excellent writing proficiency

Responsibilities
  • Review and assess mortgage applications, including AIPs, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and the Bank’s lending policy and criteria
  • Analyse applicant financial information, credit history, and supporting documentation to make underwriting recommendations
  • Liaise with relevant departments to facilitate mortgage case approvals and completion of mortgage cases
  • Prepare and issue mortgage offer and legal documents in a timely manner
  • Liaise with solicitors to ensure smooth processing and resolution of legal matters
  • Maintain organised and up-to-date documentation for all cases
  • Assist in system maintenance
  • Assist in market research and MI reports
  • Undertake additional tasks when required
