Job Title: Associate – Scientific Data Entry Department: R&D Location: Bangalore About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Associate – Scientific Data Entry to support the R&D team in documentation, sample tracking, inventory management, and smooth day-to-day lab coordination. The role requires strong accuracy, process discipline, and the ability to manage scientific and operational records efficiently. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain technology transfer documents such as IPS, FPS, RPS, MFC, and BMR Develop and manage MSDS and export-related documents for sample dispatch Create and update formula master, product master, and raw material specifications Prepare and document COAs for received samples and maintain proper records Manage inventory of raw materials and samples, including requirement planning Ensure proper handling, storage, and tracking of materials and samples Prepare end-use declarations and Non-DG documents for vendors and export requirements Oversee finished goods and benchmark sample management Handle sample/material inward records and support facility-related coordination Maintain housekeeping, documentation discipline, and workflow efficiency within the R&D laboratory Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Science / Food Technology / Chemistry / Biotechnology / Life Sciences or related field 1–2 year of experience in documentation, data entry, lab coordination, or R&D support Good understanding of technical documentation and record management Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and basic documentation tools Ability to manage multiple records, samples, and inventory systematically Good coordination and communication skills Preferred Skills Prior experience in R&D / QA / documentation Familiarity with sample handling, specifications, and documentation Organized, process-driven, and comfortable working in a laboratory support environment
Responsibilities
The associate will manage scientific documentation, including technology transfer documents, MSDS, and COAs, while overseeing sample tracking and inventory management. They are also responsible for maintaining laboratory records and supporting day-to-day facility coordination.
