The P1 Associate Scientist is responsible for supporting the delivery of multiple NPD projects through laboratory based supporting activities such as IHC staining and microtomy.
The position reports to R&D Technical Team Leader and is part of R&D located in LBS Newcastle and will be an on-site role.

THE ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB INCLUDE:

• Experience working within the Biomedical field.
• Experience of working within a regulated environment (desirable).
• Understanding of histopathology, histological/immunohistochemical and molecular biology techniques.

IT WOULD BE A PLUS IF YOU ALSO POSSESS PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN:

• Microtomy

• Develop skills in immunohistochemistry
• Support the development of NPD projects under Design Control
• Contribute towards department innovation activities
