POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a motivated Product Development Associate Scientist with a Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field or an associate degree with relevant lab experience. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate to launch a career in the life sciences industry and contribute to the development of meaningful health products, while gaining hands-on experience in a collaborative product development environment. You will assist with day-to-day laboratory operations including sample handling & testing, lab supply inventory, lab cleaning, stability testing, and equipment maintenance. We welcome enthusiastic candidates ready to take their first step in laboratory science!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and organized laboratory in accordance with safety and GMP standards
  • Assist with preparing, labeling, and documenting samples for internal and external testing
  • Support stability testing by organizing, storing, and tracking samples
  • Order lab supplies, track inventory, and restock consumables as needed
  • Perform daily instrument calibration checks (e.g., balances, pH meters, etc.)
  • Manage and update chemical inventory and safety data sheets (SDS)
  • Package and ship lab samples to external labs for analysis
  • Assist the product development team with basic mixing or weighing of ingredients
  • Ensure compliance with laboratory safety procedures and documentation requirements
  • Other lab support duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or related field (highly preferred)
  • Associate of Science with at least 1 year of lab experience (considered)
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with basic lab equipment and safety procedures
  • Interested in formulations, specifically cosmetics, supplements, and cpg products
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced lab environment
