Routine Tasks: * Provide excellent customer service by offering product knowledge, answering questions, and making personalized suggestions * Maintain product freshness through regular rotation and quality checks * Restock and rotate displays to ensure visual appeal and freshness * Package, label, and price self-service items accurately * Cut and prepare seafood products according to company standards * Clean and maintain scales, cutting areas, and prep stations * Operate department equipment including knives, steamers, and scales safely and efficiently * Assist with other tasks as assigned Qualifications: * Must be at least 18 years of age * Prior experience in seafood, grocery, or food service is strongly preferred * Ability to follow written and verbal instructions * Basic math and reading skills * Strong attention to detail and visual presentation * Team player with a positive, service-oriented attitude * A passion for serving people Physical & Work Environment A Seafood Associate works primarily in the Seafood department. This role involves walking and standing for extended periods, lifting and moving products weighing up to 80 pounds, and working in a fast-paced retail environment. Frequent interaction with customers and fellow team members is an essential part of the role.
