Essential Job Functions The West Palm Beach office is seeking an Associate Attorney to provide dedicated support a Partner and her team. This position requires a professional, organized self-starter with the ability to interact with attorneys, staff and clients at all levels in a fast-paced, challenging legal environment. A proactive work ethic, ability to anticipate needs, strong decision-making skills, attention to detail, and flexible schedule are a must. · Research case law, regulations, and statutes to support case preparation and legal advice · Draft, review, and edit legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, subpoenas, and briefs · Gather information from clients, provide case updates, and address concerns · Coordinate and file all discovery documents involving attorneys and clients · Collaborate with senior attorneys to prepare cases for trial, including organizing evidence and exhibits · Represent clients in court proceedings under the supervision of senior attorneys · Assist in the development of legal strategies and solutions · Participate in business development and community functions to maintain and build client relationships Requirements FLSA Exemption Status Exempt Education, Qualifications, and Certifications Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school License to practice law in Florida Experience 3-6 years of litigation experience FileVine experience preferred
Responsibilities
