JOB DESCRIPTION

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Associate or Senior Associate Environmental Consultant to join our Perth-based team. If you are looking to grow and shape your future with the support of our industry-leading staff, who have a proven track record of delivering high-quality, strategic, and commercially astute professional services, this role is for you. You will work with, and be supported by, a team of highly qualified and experienced contaminated land professionals and have access to our team of nationally accredited Auditors, including five WA-accredited Auditors. You will work on a range of projects across various industries together with large multi-national private and public companies.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in environmental consulting, specialising in contaminated land projects.
  • Confident in managing high-value, medium to large-scale projects.
  • Strong report writing skills, with the ability to prepare technical deliverables for complex sites, adhering to relevant state and national environmental standards and guidelines.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in environmental science, environmental engineering, science, planning, or other disciplines relevant to contaminated land assessments and remediation.
  • Exceptional lateral thinking, problem-solving, and team-working abilities.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, self-motivated, and highly driven to produce high-quality work.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with peers and clients.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of local, state, and national environmental standards and guidelines.
Responsibilities
  • Project management and delivery of technically challenging site investigation and remediation programs.
  • Preparation of high-quality deliverables.
  • Assisting with business development initiatives, including client liaison and management.
  • Mentoring and coaching junior team members.
  • Provide support to our WA-accredited Auditors in various audit support tasks.
