ABOUT YOU

We are looking for an experienced Associate (3+ years’ experience) and Senior Associate (5+ years’ experience) to join our Disputes & Investigations group.
You’ll be part of a collaborative and high-performing team that works across our Sydney and interstate offices. We are looking for individuals who thrive in a team environment but are also confident working independently.

Associate

  • Solid experience in commercial litigation
  • Strong legal research, drafting and analytical skills
  • A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn from senior team members
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines with support

Senior Assocaite

  • Demonstrated expertise in managing complex disputes and client relationships
  • Experience supervising and mentoring junior lawyers
  • Strong commercial judgement and ability to lead matters with minimal oversight
  • A collaborative leadership style and interest in business development

The Disputes & Investigations group covers all aspects of general commercial litigation, financial regulatory matters, and dispute resolution. Working closely with partners across our Sydney and interstate offices, you will be joining a dynamic, experienced and highly reputable team with an existing portfolio of a diverse range of clients and matters, ranging from advising ASX-listed companies, corporate regulators and medium to large corporates on a variety of contentious issues including:

  • commercial and contractual disputes;
  • negligence claims;
  • allegations of misleading or deceptive conduct;
  • regulatory matters;
  • disputes concerning directors/shareholders; and
  • property (real and intellectual) and construction disputes

YOUR ROLE

Recognised for their ability to handle complex and commercial disputes, our Disputes & Investigations group has unrivalled experience in conducting proceedings, negotiations and settlements through court, mediations and arbitrations across a broad range of industries. The group is well-known and respected for its application of sound legal, forensic, investigative and evidentiary skills in complex, multi-party litigation and disputes.
