The Associate Senior Technician, Formulation will work within the Vancouver R&D department in a lab-based role to perform routine production and analysis of lipid nanoparticles. They will work collaboratively in team-based projects to deliver groundbreaking LNP research, product development and support to other functions.
This position is part of the Nucleic Acids and Nanomedicine (NANM) Business Unit and the role will be based at our Vancouver, Canada office. At Cytiva, our vision is to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

  The salary range for this role is $70K-$90K CAD. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

• Perform and troubleshoot routine formulation and analytical tasks
• Formulate lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) encapsulating nucleic acids using a range of methods and instruments; operate semi-automated and automated liquid handling robots
• Characterize lipids and LNPs using a wide-range of standard analytics techniques such as DLS, zeta-potential, UV-VIS, etc.
• Analyze data, prepare reports, present the major findings in team and project meetings
• Assist in the routine preparation of buffers and reagents, re-stocking of lab supplies, and other lab support tasks
