THE JOB: As an Associate within the Shared Sourcing department, you will support the execution of sourcing strategies within defined categories including but not limited to food & beverage, hotel, facilities, & horticulture. This entry level role is instrumental in maintaining the accuracy of category data, tracking performance, preparing reporting, and assisting with day-to-day supplier and stakeholder interactions. You will enable efficient operations and contributes to value delivery across assigned spend areas. THE STARTING SALARY: $55K+ THE DAY-TO-DAY: Assist in the implementation of category strategies and sourcing initiatives. Support supplier onboarding, data collection, and contract administration activities. Manage category-related documentation and ensure accuracy of item and supplier data. Compile, analyze, and interpret category performance metrics (e.g., cost savings, supplier KPIs). Maintain dashboards and tools to track spend, forecast demand, and monitor supplier compliance. Generate reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and leadership. Act as a liaison for routine communications between internal teams and suppliers. Coordinate logistics and administrative support for supplier meetings, audits, and reviews. Respond to stakeholder inquiries and escalate issues to Manager when needed. Ensure compliance with company sourcing processes and regulatory standards. Support ESG and supplier diversity tracking efforts as required. Assist in identifying process improvement opportunities within the category team. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Must be at least 18 years of age. Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field preferred. At least 1 year of prior relevant experience in supply chain, procurement, merchandising or operations preferred.
