THE TEAM :

Our SRE team are at the forefront of driving best practices and implementing new solutions across the organization for observability, reliability and stability within our products. We’re a tight knit team that values collaboration, always looking for ways to improve and solve problems before they happen.

BASIC REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Strong problem solving skills
Familiarity with cloud technologies (preferred AWS)
Familiarity with a scripting or coding language (e.g. Python, Bash, Powershell)

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

AWS Certification (preferred)
Work experience in a technology support/devops/sre role previously (preferred)
Understands what observability in technology is (preferred)
Understanding of Infrastructure as code (preferred)

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT:

Learn and apply reliability best practices : Understand and apply SRE principles to ensure systems are scalable, resilient, and highly available.
Assist with observability strategies : Help teams use the right tools and insights to detect and prevent issues before they impact users.
Support performance optimization : Collaborate with engineering and service delivery teams to optimize performance and plan for growth.
Participate in incident management and postmortems : Assist in incident response efforts, contribute to root cause analysis, and learn from postmortems to improve system reliability.
Identify opportunities for automation : Suggest areas for automation and help build tools that improve operational efficiency and developer experience.
Collaborate and learn from team members : Engage in a culture of learning and work with engineering and service delivery teams to embed reliability into the development and support lifecycle.
Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.
